CEEF’s “Molten Salt Solar Energy Storage system” has won the national patent for invention, with certificate number of 1386903, and patent number of ZL 2012 1 0433866.2.
The patent for invention can use solar energy and storage medium to realize heat exchange, and can bring heat energy to the heating equipment day and night, to maintain continuous work of heating equipment.
Recently, the new product Solar energy storage system developed by our company has achieved technological breakthrough.
The Solar energy storage system mainly realizes 24h continuous operation of solar power station, to help the station collect solar energy at daytime and store it for using at night.
The main mechanism is as follows. At daytime, it uses solar energy collection device to heat Therminol VP-1 as heat carrier, which will heat the heat melt salt as hot carrier. Then, the hot melt salt will be stored in a large storage tank, by which the solar energy is stored. At night, the hot melt salt is used to heat Therminol VP-1 as heat carrier and then heat water to generate steam, which will drive the steam turbine to generate electricity.
In this process, two media have played a vital role, namely, melt salt as heat carrier and Therminol VP-1 as heat carrier. As the largest manufacturing enterprise of thermal oil heaters in China, our application of the medium technique is quite mature, and the relevant new products have been developed subsequently, and impressive performance has been achieved in the industry. And the technological achievement stated herein is also based on that.
