China’s largest industrial heating unit—a massive 40 million kcal/h gas-fired thermal fluid heater engineered by CEEF—has successfully achieved four years of continuous, reliable operation at the Urumqi Petrochemical Plant. Standing over 48 meters tall, this monumental installation remains the highest-capacity thermal oil heater currently deployed in the country.
Delivering a project of this unprecedented scale required our engineering team to overcome highly complex tube furnace structural designs, advanced heavy-duty welding requirements, and the sheer logistical challenge of transporting the massive furnace body. Throughout rigorous on-site pressure testing and strict quality supervision phases, the equipment demonstrated exceptional structural integrity.
Today, this robust hot oil system continues to meet the extreme, high-temperature processing demands of the petrochemical sector. While occasionally referred to by the general market as a thermal oil boiler, this advanced liquid-phase system operates seamlessly without pressure vaporization, ensuring optimal safety and continuous long-term endurance for large-scale industrial manufacturing.
