Four Decades of Heavy Heater Fabrication & Thermal Engineering

Changzhou Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEF), formerly founded in 1978 as the Changzhou Energy Equipment Factory in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of thermal fluid heaters (Hot oil heaters). Today, the company specializes in the design and manufacture of thermal oil heaters, organic heat carrier boilers, and pressure vessels. Over 45 years of R&D and manufacturing accumulation have established CEEF as one of China's most comprehensive and capable thermal oil heater manufacturers. On December 15, 2022, Changzhou Energy Equipment General Factory Co., Ltd. completed its joint-stock restructuring and was officially renamed Changzhou Energy Engineering Co., Ltd.

Energy-Saving R&D · National Standards · Provincial Center

Dedicated to the R&D of energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment, CEEF continuously upgrades traditional manufacturing with advanced high-tech engineering—not only serializing thermal oil heaters, but also pioneering molten salt heaters and solar thermal energy storage systems. CEEF has become a core supplier to numerous national key projects in China, with products successfully operating in major industrial installations worldwide. Throughout the development of the thermal oil heater industry, CEEF was successively commissioned by China's Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Chemical Industry to draft the Safety Technical Supervision Regulation for thermal fluid heaters, the National Standard for thermal oil heaters(GB/T 17410), and the shipbuilding industry standard for Marine Hot Oil Heaters. In 2014, the chemical industry standard Technical Specification for Molten Salt Heaters (HG/T 20658-2014), co-authored by CEEF, was officially implemented. As early as 2001, CEEF undertook China's National Major Technical Equipment Innovation Program. In 2011, the company established the industry's sole provincial enterprise technology center at the time—the Jiangsu Ultra-Large Intelligent Thermal Fluid Heater Engineering Technology Research Center. In 2012, CEEF was designated as a Jiangsu Quality Supervision and Inspection Demonstration Base, serving as a benchmark enterprise in the boiler industry.

Through more than four decades of dedicated research, CEEF has developed a complete product matrix of thermal oil heaters—including the coal-fired (biomass) series, oil-fired series, dual-fuel (oil & gas) series, dual-fuel (coal & gas) series, coal-water slurry series, pulverized coal series, wood-waste-fired series, sanding-dust-fired series, and electric heating series—with thermal outputs ranging from 25 kW up to 60,000 kW (60 MW). Our flagship 'Xianfeng' (Pioneer) brand thermal oil heaters have won numerous honors, including China's National Silver Quality Award, Jiangsu Famous Brand Product, and Jiangsu Famous Trademark. CEEF also owns independent intellectual property rights to its proprietary thermal fluid heater design and engineering calculation software, holds 35+ national patents, and is recognized as a Top 100 Patent Enterprise in Changzhou.

Through extensive international exchange and industry-university-research collaboration, CEEF maintains nearly 20 years of technical cooperation with world-renowned industry leaders including Bertrams (Switzerland) and Vyncke (Belgium). Domestically, CEEF has established long-term R&D partnerships with Xi'an Jiaotong University, Nanjing Tech University (formerly Nanjing University of Chemical Technology), the First Design Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI), and Changzhou University.
