Late on December 28, 2023, heavy transport trucks carrying two 24.42MW gas-fired thermal oil heaters departed the manufacturing base of Changzhou Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEF) marking the official delivery phase of a major project for a leading domestic chemical fiber manufacturer. Developed with independent intellectual property rights, these patented bottom-fired low-NOx gas thermal fluid heaters represent a major technical advancement in high-capacity gas-fired industrial heating.
8 Units of 24.42MW Thermal Fluid Heaters for a Long-Term Chemical Fiber Partner
The December shipment builds on a long-standing partnership that began in 2006. Over the past seventeen years, this chemical fiber producer has ordered more than 50 thermal oil heater units from CEEF to power its continuous production lines. In December 2023, CEEF completed manufacturing for all 8 newly ordered 24.42MW bottom-fired units, dispatching the first two heaters to the client’s facility on December 28.
Structural Coil Upgrades Combined with Low-NOx and Heat Pipe Technology
Conventional large-scale gas-fired hot oil heaters often face structural limitations that restrict overall thermal efficiency. To overcome these bottlenecks, CEEF’s sales, engineering, production, and field service teams conducted a dedicated one-year R&D program involving continuous operational simulations and test adjustments. Key engineering upgrades achieved in the new 24.42MW hot oil system include:
- Optimized Furnace Body & Coil Architecture: Re-engineered furnace geometry and heating tube arrangements designed specifically for bottom-fired gas combustion.
- Integrated Low-NOx & Heat Pipe Technology: Combines internationally advanced high-efficiency low-NOx combustion technology with heat pipe heat-recovery technology to maximize heat transfer while curbing emissions.
- High Thermal Efficiency & Cost Reduction: Delivers safer, more stable continuous operation with thermal efficiency well above national energy-saving standards, directly lowering fuel consumption and long-term operating costs for chemical fiber plants.
Following the arrival of the 24.42MW units on-site, CEEF’s engineering service specialists deploy directly to the client’s facility to supervise installation, conduct system commissioning and maintenance checks, and provide operator training, backed by lifetime technical support.
