The updated National Standard of the People’s Republic of China for thermal oil heaters—GB/T 17410—2023 (Organic heat transfer material heaters, also referred to in industry terminology as Organic heat carrier(HTF) heater systems)—has been officially promulgated with Changzhou Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEF), serving as the lead drafting organization. Jointly issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) on September 7, 2023, the revised standard takes full effect on April 1, 2024.
Categorized under international classification codes ICS 71.120; 25.180 and Chinese classification code CCS G 93, GB/T 17410—2023 officially replaces the previous GB/T 17410—2008 edition—a foundational national code that CEEF also helped draft fifteen years earlier. Leading the formulation of both the 2008 and 2023 editions underscores CEEF’s long-standing technical authority in setting national engineering, safety, and manufacturing benchmarks for industrial thermal fluid heater and hot oil heater equipment.
