Changzhou Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEF) received an “Outstanding Contribution Construction Unit Award” from Tiandingfeng Holdings Co., Ltd. (TDFH) following the successful commissioning of its semi-coke thermal heating project. Issued via official client commendation (Document TDFH [2020] No. 004), the award specifically recognizes CEEF for its technical recommendations in equipment configuration and model selection, as well as guaranteed on-time delivery of the thermal oil heater system despite supply chain disruptions.
Six-Month Execution of the Semi-Coke Thermal Heating Project
Initiated on January 8, 2020, the Tiandingfeng Holdings project moved from project approval, feasibility studies, and environmental and energy assessments to full operation in just six months. Civil construction began on March 16, 2020, and the hot oil boiler achieved successful ignition and commissioning on July 15, 2020.
During installation, the new hot oil system was integrated with the thermal fluid piping in Workshop #7 and safely connected in parallel with the plant’s existing natural gas system without halting production line operations. In continuous operation, the semi-coke system meets ultra-clean environmental emission standards while reducing annual operating fuel costs by more than 40 million RMB compared to natural gas heating.
Full-Lifecycle Engineering from Selection to Commissioning
Delivering complex industrial heating projects under compressed schedules requires coordination across every engineering phase rather than simple equipment sales. To support the Tiandingfeng project timeline, CEEF combined upfront process consultation with coordinated execution across three core functions:
- Application-Specific System Selection: Evaluating the client’s operating conditions early in the procurement phase to configure the optimal thermal fluid heater specifications.
- Accelerated Manufacturing & Delivery: Prioritizing production scheduling and strict factory quality control to ensure the hot oil heater and auxiliary components arrived on-site on schedule.
- Post-Installation Technical Support: Collaborating with on-site engineering teams through system dehydration, boil-out, commissioning, and long-term operational maintenance.
