Backed by nearly 40 years of engineering experience as of 2010, Changzhou Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEEF) operates as China’s largest and longest-established facility dedicated to the research, design, manufacturing, and supply of industrial thermal oil heater systems. Recognized as a Jiangsu Province’s High-Tech Enterprise and an AAA-Grade Contract-Honoring and Creditworthy Enterprise, CEEF serves as the country’s primary R&D base for thermal fluid heater technology and has earned numerous provincial, ministerial, and national honors.
National Key R&D Programs & Ultra-Large System Localization
Throughout China’s industrial heating development, CEEF has been entrusted with foundational national research and equipment localization initiatives:
- 7th Five-Year National Science & Technology Project: Led key national R&D tackling tasks for thermal oil heaters (formally classified in Chinese standards as Organic heat carrier(HTF) heater systems).
- 8th Five-Year National Technology Promotion: Served as the designated technical supporting institution for promoting and applying major national scientific achievements in thermal fluid heating.
- Ultra-Large Equipment Localization: Selected by the State Economic and Trade Commission as the manufacturing contractor for the “National Major Technical Equipment Localization Innovation R&D Project — Ultra-Large Thermal Fluid Heater Localization Project.”
Drafting National, Marine, and Molten Salt Heating Standards
Beyond equipment manufacturing, CEEF plays a central role in establishing national technical codes and quality assurance benchmarks across the industry:
- National & Marine Standards Drafter: Co-drafted two internationally advanced national and maritime standards: GB/T 17410-2008 (Organic Heat Carrier Furnaces) and CB/T 3945-2002 (Marine Thermal Oil Heaters), governing stationary and marine hot oil heater engineering.
- First Molten Salt Heater Standard in China: Formulated and implemented China’s first enterprise product standard for molten salt heaters in 2000 (Standard No. Q/320400NS014-2000).
- Benchmark Pressure Vessel Quality Manual: Authored the Pressure Vessel Quality Assurance Manual equivalent to ISO 9001, which was adopted as the official model quality manual for pressure vessel manufacturers across Jiangsu Province.
