Headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, CEEF operates the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Ultra-Large High-Intelligence Thermal Fluid Heaters—the core technical institute leading the company’s R&D in high-capacity industrial heating equipment.
Six Specialized Research Divisions & Process Control Expertise
The research center is structured into six specialized engineering divisions: Systems, Pressure Vessels, Electrical Engineering, Furnace Structure, Process Engineering, and Microcomputer Control. Its core technical leads bring decades of hands-on experience in designing coal-fired, oil-fired, and gas-fired thermal oil heater and thermal fluid heater equipment (also classified in national standards as Organic heat carrier(HTF) heater units). Beyond furnace design, the team specializes in complete hot oil system engineering—covering flow regulation, precise temperature and pressure control, pressure vessel integrity, and real-time combustion process monitoring.

780 m² Testing Laboratories & Multidisciplinary Engineering Team
To validate material performance, welding integrity, and thermal efficiency in-house, the center operates a 780 m² experimental facility equipped with more than 30 specialized testing and analytical instruments across four dedicated laboratories:
- Physical Testing Laboratory
- Chemical Analysis Laboratory
- Metrology and Testing Laboratory
- Welding Laboratory
The R&D center is staffed by more than 60 engineering and technical specialists—including 34 senior engineers—spanning disciplines such as boiler engineering, chemical machinery, thermal power engineering, mechatronics, mechanical manufacturing, metal heat treatment, welding technology, tooling design, and electronic instrumentation.
Academic-Industrial Technical Committee
To strengthen continuous innovation in hot oil heater technology, CEEF maintains a long-term research partnership with Changzhou University in Changzhou, China, alongside other academic institutions. The center is guided by a seven-member Technical Committee composed of senior experts from CEEF, the School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering at Changzhou University in Changzhou, China, and leading figures from the domestic scientific and industrial sectors. This committee oversees R&D roadmaps, evaluates experimental engineering schemes, and provides technical and economic consultation for industrial heating applications.
